Fall Equinox Concert Journey with Cacao

In the energy of Fall Equinox, we welcome you to a collaboration between Sound Healer Tanya Devine and Hanna Elise & Cody Wicks of Emergence, weaving together a musical concert journey with a Cacao Elixir.

Embracing the transition of moving through the busy time of Summer into the slowing down of Fall, with an eclectic weaving of this trio’s gifts and treasures of sound in presence.

Come together in community to honour this turn of the wheel.
A time of nurturing the stillness & slowness with the warmth of Cacao to soothe the edges and connect with your heart centre. Move slow… let go… take a look at where you’ve been and step forward slowly to where you’re going.

A concert journey is an interweaving of musical performance and sound journey; combining songs, sacred sounds, and silence, allowing these moments in candlelight to deepen the vibrations within.

Prepare ahead of time by reflecting on your intentions and core values.

Bring a water bottle, cushion, blanket, and/or what you need to be comfortable. Some chairs will be available for those who need one.

Time: 7:00-10:00pm

Doors open at 6:45pm to come and settle in!

Cost: $20+ sliding scale.

Please park down by the river and walk up if at all possible. Bring a flashlight. If you need closer parking for accessibility, please let us know.

This is a private event. If you’re coming, you’re more than welcome to being your trusted friends and family and support them to be on the land in a good may. Please make sure to respect the land and people, arrive on time, and ask if you have any extra needs or questions.

About the Facilitators:

TANYA DEVINE OF DEVINE DIDJERIDU

Tanya offers a Sacred Sound Journey using Australian Didjeridus, Singing Bowls, a Medicine Drum, a Steel Tongue Drum, Chimes, a Bull Roarer, and designs mystical remixes to accompany her live instruments, creating a safe deep space for you to dive into through sound and ceremony.
Tanya has been walking her medicine path in complete surrender to the healing vibrations and guidance of the Didjeridu, which holds a powerful presence and brings up deep earth energy with an ancient spirit that is felt by all who lay at the receiving end of its medicine.
She carries a number of Authentic Australian Didjeridu’s, playing some on a mic with the amplification of sound and offering the Root, 432hz Sacral and Heart frequency Didjeridus to guide energy through the system.
Tanya collaborates with different facilitators who are always bringing their gifts to the table keeping the offerings fresh and new, including Breathwork, Chakra Journeys, Cacao Ceremonies, Kundalini Dance, Yoga & QiGong.

Chris Mapstone is returning to Vancouver island and will be sharing a concert on Saturday, July 8th along with EMERGENCE (Hanna Elise and Cody Wicks), as well as a Cacao Ceremony with Iselin Amanda Stoylen.

This is an “invite only” event to keep it community focused and intimate.

Mapstone’s music is Steeped in conscious lyrics, thoughtful grooves and an energy that is captivating
Blending and bending Medicine, Reggae, Folk and World music into a unique fusion and expression.
A song carrier, a musical mystic, a weaver of melody and rhythm. Chris Mapstone has spent a decade travelling in multi dimensional musical realms. He has shared his heart and music around the world at festivals, events, retreats, teepee’s, fires and ceremonies. His music continues to grow and flourish as he follows the music and the muse to where it is needed. Having shared stages and space with other visionary artists such as Murray Kyle, Darpan, and Lulu and Mischka. Chris’s musical path is one of healing and service; It is a deep dive into the mystery, wrapped in a warm blanket of love and grace.
Combining Voice, Yidaki (didgeridoo), Percussion, Guitar and Flutes, Mapstone weaves an uplifting and enchanting sound. The lyrics and music are transformational; connecting the body and spirit in a multi dimensional sonic journey of the heart; for the heart and from the heart.
